The remaining players of my top-150 prospects are all likely Day 3 selections.
Nico Siragusa, Will Holden, and Danny Isidora are solid offensive linemen prospects who could be options for the Packers if they don’t address the guard position in the first few rounds of the draft.
Running backs Corey Clement and James Conner are physical downhill runners who could offer depth at the position for the Packers. However, Aaron Jones is an underrated halfback with some speed and wiggle in space.
Receivers Jehu Chesson and Kenny Golladay have size and speed and would be interesting player stop develop on the roster.
It’s also this range to look for raw prospects with rare athletic traits. Cornerbacks Shaquille Griffin and Brandon Wilson both have blazing 4.3 speed and impressive athleticism. However, on tape their games are inconsistent.
Linebackers Marquel Lee and Jayon Brown also boast rare athleticism for their position, and could be options for the Packers on Day 3 if they’re looking for an inside linebacker that can bring speed and coverage ability to the position.
On the contrary, former LSU standout Kendell Beckwith isn’t the fastest or most athletic linebacker in the draft, but he’s a guy I’d love for the Packers to have on their roster. He’s a tough, smash mouth football player who can take on blocks and set the tone against the running game.
He’s an early-down run defender who would be well worth a mid to late-round pick. If he was coming out a college a decade ago he’d be an early-round prospect.
