2. Vince Biegel, OLB, Wisconsin

Biegel is one of the more underrated defenders in the draft, and he could be in play for the Packers in the fourth round. I have an early-third round grade on the Wisconsin product and feel he’d be a great edge prospect to develop in the Packers 3-4 defense.

His size and testing numbers are nearly identical to Clay Matthews and his relentless style of play resembles a young No. 52. Biegel would bring some speed off the edge and experience rushing from a two-point stance.

He’s also versatile enough and a smooth enough athlete in space to play on the inside as an off-ball linebacker. His instincts and non-stop motor would make him an active run defender.

If the Packers want to continue getting more athletic and faster on defense, Biegel would be a great pick for them early on Day 3. He’s well worth the 108th selection, but the Packers could even take a chance that the athletic linebacker will be available at the end of the fourth round.
