Green Bay Packers 2017 NFL Draft: Players to target on Day 3
By Dan Dahlke
5. Dorian Johnson, OG, Pittsburgh
Just because the Packers signed veteran Jahri Evans to a one-year deal doesn’t mean they’re finished addressing the interior offensive line.
They could use a young talented prospect like Dorian Johnson to develop behind Evans for a season or two. Johnson is a flat-out butt kicker in the running game.
He’s a powerful guard who can control the point of attack. He also has quick footwork and fluid lateral movement. His overall game just needs polish. He can overextend too much or get sloppy with his hands.
I have a second-round grade on him and feel he’s a player with a lot of upside.
