With the 2017 NFL Draft in the rear-view mirror, let’s make some early predictions for the Green Bay Packers’ final 53-man roster.

The player acquisition phase of the offseason is largely over now, and the Green Bay Packers’ roster isn’t going to see too many more new additions. Mike McCarthy knows who he’s got to work with over the summer, and there will be a number of intriguing positional battles taking place at training camp.

One is at running back. Eddie Lacy, James Starks, Christine Michael and Don Jackson are all gone. Ty Montgomery gets the nod as the leader of the backfield, but the addition of three backs in the draft provides a ton of intrigue for the remaining spots.

There will also be a tight battle for the starting right guard spot vacated by T.J. Lang. How many of the six million wide receivers currently under contract will land on the final 53? There will even be a punting competition to look forward to.

We’ll start in the quarterback room.
