2. Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers

BYU’s all-time leading rusher runs hard and angry and should get every opportunity to lead the Green Bay Packers in carries and overall touches.

The 6-foot, 212-pound battering ram is built to handle 15-20 carries and wear down a defense with his incredible lower-body strength and unrelenting demeanor.

Will the Packers actually game plan 15-20 carries with Ty Montgomery also playing a major role at running back and with all of the offense’s weapons at the receiver and tight end positions?

Probably not…at least not on a weekly basis. But the fact that Williams will be part of a prolific Green Bay attack will put the rookie ball carrier in position to convert several goal-line handoffs into scores.

Though Williams has enough lateral agility to bounce plays outside for sizeable gains, his upright style may make him susceptible to absorbing an inordinate share of big hits.

Provided he avoids significant injuries, this pad popper has the physical traits to be the type of player that will annually rank among the league leaders in yards after contact.

Because of Montgomery’s presence, Williams can be drafted as a mid-level RB3 in redraft leagues with the upside for much more.
