Josh Letuligasenoa

Defensive players can be a dime a dozen, but to find versatile players, like Josh Letuligasenoa, isn’t always easy.

Letuligasenoa, who played defensive end for the most part while with Cal Poly, worked at outside linebacker for the Packers.

The Packers’ coaches were so impressed with what they saw, he was one of five tryout players signed early this week.

The Sacramento Bee quoted Letuligasenoa after he was offered the contract: “I didn’t really believe it when it happened. I still have a lot of work to do. I made the roster. Now I have to keep working.”

While Letuligasenoa was impressing the Packers’ staff, Packers fans will also be pleased to know that this isn’t your run-of-the-mill football player.

He is scheduled to graduate with a bachelor degree in industrial technology and graduate this coming June.

At Cal Poly, Letuligasenoa recorded 66 tackles as a senior – 9.5 tackles for a loss.

Letuligasenoa will wear number 59 for the Packers.
