9. Geronimo Allison

Last year’s unheralded rookie free agent not only made quite an impression on the coaching staff during the preseason, but he would eventually earn more snaps than both veteran Jeff Janis and fellow neophyte Trevor Davis.

In addition to offering size and sure hands, the 6-foot-3 pass catcher quickly caught on by consistently running to the right spot along with demonstrating the ability to fight off defensive backs on contested plays.

Allison isn’t necessarily a blazer, but the vertical threat’s long strides allow him to gain separation on deep routes.

The 23-year-old finished the regular season by reeling in throws of 32 and 39 yards in consecutive late-season wins over the Vikings and Lions.
