3. Which young receiver stands out?

Twelve wide receivers currently sit on the Packers’ roster, with only four clocking over two years of experience in the NFL. Of the six (possibly seven) spots up for grabs on the 53-man roster, which young pass catchers will stand out?

The trio of Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and Randall Cobb can be considered locks on the roster. Beyond them is fair game. Second-year Geronimo Allison impressed last year after going undrafted, and he can be viewed as the frontrunner for a spot prior to camp getting underway.

Jeff Janis, an ace on special teams but rarely used on offense, may struggle to keep hold of his spot, but it will depend on the performances of the younger receivers.

Two were taken in this year’s draft: DeAngelo Yancey and Malachi Dupre. A handful of others joined as undrafted free agents.

Will the next Geronimo Allison emerge?
