Green Bay Packers: Training camp Tweets of the Week

The best Green Bay Packers tweets from the opening few days of training camp.
Training camp gets back underway Monday, but let’s first look back at last week’s practices. There was plenty to digest, but Twitter kept Packers fans up to date.
Here are some of the best Packers tweets from training camp so far.

Martellus Bennett is already a fan favorite in Green Bay, and it’s for reasons like this.
#Packers TE Martellus Bennett is giving his first camp interview wearing a cheesehead, and Mike Daniels is asking questions. So that's fun.

There’s plenty of talent on the Packers’ defensive line right now. The competition for snaps will be interesting as camp wears on. We just need to hope they stay healthy.
Not sure what to make of this, if anything, but #Packers DL Dean Lowry got first-team reps over Kenny Clark in nickel during 2 minute.

Bennett hasn’t been without injury issues during his career, and there was a scare on Friday.
#Packers Martellus Bennett needed help getting up and appears to be limping grabbing his left leg during non contact drill.

All was well in the end, though.
Martellus Bennett left field after grabbing his leg following noncontact drill, but he ran back on and is doing drills. You can breathe now.

Annnnnd he’s back to catching touchdowns…
In 2-minute drill Rodgers rolls left and hits Bennett for TD on final play.

David Bakhtiari isn’t just one of the league’s premier left tackles, but apparently he’s also World Heavyweight Champion. It’s hardly surprising.

Back to football now. The Packers need improvements from their young cornerbacks this year, and Quinten Rollins has set himself apart early on at camp. This is encouraging.
Meanwhile, rookie safety Josh Jones has made an impact too.
Jones just lit Dupre up. Mercy.

Jones is known for delivering big hits, and he hasn’t been holding back at camp, so it appears.
Josh Jones is as advertised today. Physical guy who arrives in a bad mood.

And finally, a slow-mo look at Saturday’s practice.
