Green Bay Packers: 5 stars from training camp so far

The common fan may think of Josh Jones as being second-tier in relation to Kevin King due to their order in the draft. King has been impressive, but Jones has as well.

Jones has been switching between safety and linebacker in camp thus far in training camp, and he has been hitting everything in sight.

He was so physical in the first day of padded practice, that he nearly started a fight when taking down fellow rookie Malachi Dupre.

Packers free safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix drew some similarities between Jones and a younger version of himself, in an interview via WBAY.

"“As a rookie he reminds me a lot of myself. A guy that just wants to fly around make plays,” Clinton-DIx said about Jones. “I really see a lot of myself in him a lot as a rookie.”"

Not a bad first week when you’re already being compared to a Pro-Bowler.

Aaron Nagler, reporter for the Green Bay Press-Gazette, agreed that the hype surrounding Jones is very real.
