The NFC North should be a competitive division in 2017. Three of the four teams can easily make the playoffs.

The Bears have made strides to better themselves via the draft and free agency but realistically they are not ready to contend for the division just yet.

The Lions are coming off a year where they had tremendous chemistry the team. They looked like a team that had taken the much-needed step from mediocrity to a playoff bound team for years to come.

So much so that the organization rewarded their star quarterback Matt Stafford with a new five-year contract extension for a noteworthy $135 million. Noteworthy in the fact that he earned it and that Aaron Rodgers will be looking for that much and more when he looks to extend his salary.

Minnesota could be like the team that started out 5-0 last year or they could be the team that faltered to a 3-8 record. Their quarterback, Sam Bradford, is the epitome of this conclusion.

The Vikings running back position should be improved with the presence of rookie Davin Cook from Florida State.

The Packers have kept enough players to continue their strong play from the end of the season last year. Aaron Rodgers continues to astound us all with his remarkable play.

Green Bay will win the NFC North again and contend for another Lombardi Trophy.

Green Bay 11-5

Detroit 10-6

Minnesota 8-8

Chicago 4-12
