3. Burnett quietly makes some noise

It’s easy to overlook the steadiness of Morgan Burnett when Rodgers is throwing dimes to Jordy Nelson or Montgomery is running ferociously through contact or with Daniels wreaking havoc in the enemy’s backfield.

Yet the long-tenured eighth-year Packer does nothing but routinely fly to the ball and anticipate plays that help kill drives.

In addition to coming downhill and dropping the hammer on Seattle’s running backs, Burnett came up aces with a little over five minutes left in the game by getting his arm in front of the towering Jimmy Graham in the end zone and helped put the visitors away for good.

The 28-year-old combines physicality with an uncanny sense of timing to close in on passes. His versatility to play linebacker in the Nitro package allows the defense to utilize Burnett’s tremendous range to get to the football.
