Andrew Norwell, Guard, Carolina Panthers

It’s no secret the Packers need help on the offensive line. Allowing 51 sacks over the course of the 2017 season calls for immediate improvement. One of the weak spots on the o-line was the interior protectors, namely the guards.

Norwell is durable. He has started all 16 games the past two seasons in Carolina and has started at least nine throughout his career. Durability for Packers offensive linemen hasn’t been there during the season, which could be a huge reason for the high sack numbers.

The only offensive lineman to start all 16 games during the 2017 season was center Corey Linsley. The down year for the offensive line can be attributed to the lack of consistency. Nine different linemen started games in 2017 with another two playing in relief of injured starters, per Pro Football Reference.

Norwell won’t be that expensive to sign, either. His $2.7 million price tag in 2017 will surely go up, but not by much. He is one of the most underrated offensive linemen in the league.

Norwell’s overall performance and versatility would be a huge help for the Packers offensive line that needs stability going into the 2018 season.
