2. Cornerback
Cornerback is still a position of need for the Packers.
New defensive coordinator Mike Pettine has some talented pieces to work with, but the unit lacks a No. 1 corner. Depth is also an issue.
Maybe Kevin King will develop into a true top cornerback. His rookie season was cut short due to injury, but he showed a lot of potential.

Damarious Randall also stepped up. Randall has dealt with a number of injuries throughout his short NFL career, but his play towards the end of the season provided some optimism for the future under Pettine.
Picking at No. 14 in the draft, Gutekunst could potentially land a difference maker at the position. A year ago the Saints selected Marshon Lattimore at No. 11. His Pro Bowl rookie season helped New Orleans’ pass defense improve from No. 32 in 2016 to No. 15 in 2017.
Davon House disappointed on his return to Green Bay, and it remains to be seen whether he will be re-signed.
The Packers have lost a lot of talent in the secondary over the past few years. The secondary once featured the likes of Sam Shields, Casey Hayward and Tramon Williams. Those days are gone.
The need for a cornerback could prompt Gutekunst to target one early in the draft. A talented corner like Joshua Jackson out of Iowa could be a great fit. Urgency: Urgent
