Packers: Quarterback options on Day 2 of the 2018 NFL Draft
Mike White, Western Kentucky
Mike White is a favorite quarterback prospect of mine in this draft.
He has an NFL caliber arm and I think he might be the most NFL-ready prospect that I named in this article. White would be a excellent addition to the Packers’ quarterback room.
White is also pretty accurate for a quarterback projected to go where he is (projected second or third round by NFLDraftScout.com).
The competition that White faced in college could have certainly been better but quarterbacks such as Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco, Derek Carr, and Carson Wentz played in group of five conferences or even FCS and transitioned fine to the NFL.
I could see him crawling up draft boards as scouts and draft gurus could fall in love with his arm and skill set, but Green Bay should consider him if he is out there on Day 2.
A lot of people are just starting to pay attention to White, and he was nowhere near as popular in the college football landscape as any of the other three prospects were on this list, but I think he will be a big winner from this year’s combine and will be able to solidify himself as a Day 2 player at the minimum.

I think he could be a starter in the NFL and he looks and plays like the type of quarterback that could play for a cold weather team like Green Bay.
