Packers 7-round mock draft 2018: Defense is the focus
By Dan Dahlke
Round 3: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn (6-1, 203)
Davis might not fall this far in the draft, but if he does, the Packers would be wise to snatch him up.
The former four-star recruit is a physical press-man corner with good size and length, which helps him disrupt receivers downfield and get his hands on passes. His aggressive playing style led to 21 pass breakups in his final two seasons at Auburn.

Davis would give the Packers another tall cornerback to line up opposite Kevin King on the boundary. He’s also very good in run support, which is also an added bonus for a defensive back prospect.
Round 3 (comp pick): Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon (6-5, 320)
It would be wise for the Packers to spend one of their first picks on an offensive tackle. Bryan Bulaga has an extensive injury history, and Jason Spriggs and Kyle Murphy have been either injured or inconsistent in their play.
The Packers could use an insurance policy at right tackle. Crosby would give them just that. He started all 12 games at right tackle his sophomore season at Oregon before switching to left tackle his senior year.
The former Duck is an athletic tackle prospect with a strong base to handle bull rushers on the edge.
