2018 NFL mock draft: Packers address defense in first round
I was really stuck on three players here: Taven Bryan, Isaiah Wynn and Harold Landry. The defensive line for the Lions looks to be the biggest area of concern to me right now, on both the interior and on the edge.
Bryan’s natural position is on the interior of the defensive line, where he is a very tough player who plays with a ton of energy. Due to his athleticism, explosiveness and block-shedding ability, I could see Bryan being used in some packages on the outside. He could prove to be a very valuable piece to this defense, as an athletic run-stopper and as a pass-rushing interior defensive lineman.
The Bengals desperately need to address their offensive line, even after adding Cordy Glenn in a trade with the Bills.
Isaiah Wynn would be a huge addition in the interior of this offensive line. He is a very versatile player who could play at guard, center or tackle if needed. He is just as good of a run blocker as he is a pass blocker. Everybody knows what they have in their passing game with A.J. Green, but they need to build up this offensive line to get the run game going with their 2017 second-round pick, Joe Mixon.
