Kenny Vaccaro, New Orleans Saints

Vaccaro has been a quiet, but great all-around safety for the New Orleans Saints. He can beat you in coverage, he can rush the quarterback, and he can get to the ball carrier.

The only real issue is Vacarro staying on the field. He has only started all 16 games in a season one time, in 2015.

He found his way onto injured reserve in 2017 with a completely torn adductor muscle and an injured wrist.

Injuries have been a problem for the Packers too. It seems as if every year there is at least one major contributor who ends up on IR.

However, when Vaccaro is on the field, he is a dominant force. In 2017, he started 12 games, but those 12 games were arguably better than any member of the Packers secondary.

If he can stay healthy, which has been a problem in his career, Vaccaro is a top 10 safety in the NFL.

Vacarro is the oldest of the three safeties in this article. At 27 years old, he has the most experience and is currently in his athletic prime. He would be a great mentor for the young members of the Packers’ secondary.

Morgan Burnett was the “quarterback” of the defense. He got that title for his hard work on the field and his mentoring of younger talent off the field. Vacarro is the best available option to fill this role.
