Edge rushers and cornerbacks dominate the latest Green Bay Packers mock draft roundup.

Just weeks away from the 2018 NFL Draft, the excitement levels are rising. It’s going to be fascinating to see how new Packers GM Brian Gutekunst approaches the three-day event. How does he plan on fixing a ton of needs across the roster? And we’re not just talking about defense. The Packers need more depth along the offensive line, as well as another receiver and tight end to develop.

Fortunately, Gutekunst has 12 selections to help him, as well as the team’s highest pick in nearly a decade. That’ll do. The question now is how Gutekunst will use these picks. Will he take a “best player available” approach, or will he tend to draft for need more frequently? Will Gutekunst be aggressive by attempting to move up and down via trades?

Who knows, maybe Gutekunst will follow in Ted Thompson‘s footsteps and select a quarterback with his first pick. That turned out pretty well for Ted.

On defense, the Packers need upgrades to the pass rush and at cornerback. They could also look to add another safety and inside linebacker. Anyone that can help the Packers’ defense get off the field on third down.

Let’s take a look at some of the top mock drafts from around the internet. Who could land in Green Bay at No. 14?
