Why the Green Bay Packers’ defense could improve in 2018, and more news and analysis in the Packers News Report.

Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report for Monday, April 9, bringing you up to date with all of the latest Green Bay Packers news and analysis from around the internet.

We are just over two weeks away from the 2018 NFL Draft. Which position will new general manager Brian Gutekunst address with his first pick? Will he look to upgrade the pass rush with a prospect like Harold Landry or Marcus Davenport? Will Green Bay select one the draft’s top cornerbacks?

Perhaps Gutekunst will look to trade the 14th overall pick. If a player like Tremaine Edmunds makes it to No. 10, Gutekunst could feel it’s worth trying to move up. On the flip side, the Pack could move down to acquire more selections. That could be especially important if a top quarterback drops to No. 14 and another team looks to move up. Green Bay already owns a league-high 12 selections.

What do you think Green Bay should do with its first-round pick? Who are you hoping makes it to No. 14?
