The Green Bay Packers will play in five primetime games this season.

The Packers’ full regular season schedule was released on Thursday evening.

Green Bay will play five primetime games. They come against the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings.

Two of those games will be played at Lambeau Field.

The first of the primetime games will take place in the season opener. Green Bay will host its division-rival Bears on Sunday Night Football. The game kicks off at 7:20 p.m. CT on Sept. 9.

In Week 6, the Packers host the 49ers on Monday Night Football. The game takes place on Oct. 15 at 7:15 p.m. CT. This will be an interesting showdown between two-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers and San Francisco’s young star Jimmy Garoppolo.

The Packers travel to New England in Week 9, again playing on Sunday Night Football. This could be one of the games of the season, and gets underway at 7:20 p.m. CT on Nov. 4.

Green Bay will play back-to-back primetime games in Weeks 11 and 12. First up is a tough road trip to Seattle on Thursday Night Football. Playing away from home on a short week is difficult. That game is at 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 15.

They will get 10 days of rest ahead of their next game, a trip to Minnesota on Sunday Night Football. This huge divisional showdown kicks off at 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 25.

It comes as no surprise that the Packers are set to be featured in five primetime games.

They have picked some great matchups, including two within the division.

The pick of the games is a Week 9 meeting with the Patriots. Will it be the last time we see Rodgers and Tom Brady play against each other? It will almost certainly be their final regular season battle.
