Overview: Opinions varied greatly among the four writers when it came to the defensive line group.

While all four writers had Vita Vea, Da’Ron Payne, and Maurice Hurst in some type of order as their top-three defensive linemen, only two writers viewed Vea as the top defensive lineman.

The other two writers had either Payne or Hurst ranked first.

All four writers also ranked Taven Bryan and Harrison Phillips in their top-10, each falling in the fourth to ninth range.

Rasheem Green, Andrew Brown, BJ Hill, and Derrick Nnadi each made three of the four writers’ top-ten list.

Small-school standout Nathan Shepherd was mentioned in two of the writers’ rankings, while Tim Settle was also on two draft boards.

Surprisingly, former Alabama defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand only made one writer’s top-10 list. RJ McIntosh and Breeland Speaks also each got one mention.
