The Green Bay Packers have a lot of different avenues they could take with the 14th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Lombardi Ave staff makes their predictions.

After months of mock drafts, speculation, watching film etc. we are just a day away from the 2018 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers have their highest overall selection in the draft since 2009.

There is so much talent that will be available when the Packers go on the clock. There has been a report that the Packers will either go with Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick or Iowa cornerback Josh Jackson, but we all know anything can happen on draft night.

An edge rusher and a cornerback are the two greatest needs for the Packers right now. However, the team will look to fill holes along the offensive line, at wide receiver, and at safety throughout the draft as well.

As we saw last year, the Packers aren’t opposed to trading down in the draft in order to acquire more picks. It’s just as likely to happen again this year too. The Packers have 12 picks this year, the most of any team. So they do have the assets to trade up if they want to as well.

Who will the Packers take? Will they trade up or down? All these questions will be answered very soon. For now, all we can do is speculate.
