The real question here is what positions offer a surplus of talent that will allow the new GM to accumulate talent in that one particular area?
Secondly, does that surplus match a glaring need?
One position where the Packers will almost certainly look to sink their teeth into is cornerback, which happens to be chock full of quick and athletic cover men from big and small programs alike.

Corners, such as the long and smooth Holton Hill could be had in the later rounds if the team deems his off-field issues fixable. Another highly-productive, albeit smaller, defender that should be there for the taking in Day 3 is Florida’s Duke Dawson, who has the awareness and strength to be some team’s primary slot cornerback down the road.
Another position that may be a bit light in elite prospects on the top end, but plentiful in the middle tiers is wide receiver, where the likes of Dante Pettis, Cedrick Wilson or Justin Watson are a few examples of impressive pass catchers who should be still be on the board in the third round and beyond.
