Packers 2018 Draft: What to expect on Day 2 of the draft
Packers’ remaining picks
The position of the Packers’ first-round selection may have changed a lot on the opening night, but the quantity of their picks remained high throughout. While Green Bay currently only has one Day 2 selection, the team still has more than enough to work with.
Here’s a full list of the Packers’ remaining picks:
- Round 2, Pick 13 (45 overall)
- Round 4, Pick 1 (101) — From Cleveland
- Round 4, Pick 33 (133) — Compensatory selection
- Round 5, Pick 1 (138) — From Cleveland
- Round 5, Pick 10 (147) — From New Orleans
- Round 5, Pick 35 (172) — Compensatory selection
- Round 5, Pick 37 (174) — Compensatory selection
- Round 6, Pick 33 (207) — Compensatory selection
- Round 7, Pick 14 (232)
- Round 7, Pick 21 (239) — From Buffalo
- Round 7, Pick 30 (248) — From Seattle
The Packers only have one selection on Friday, but will make 10 on Saturday as it stands. There’s a good chance Gutekunst will look to package some of those selections to move up at some stage, probably in the third round.
The second day of the 2018 NFL Draft kicks off at 6 p.m. CT, an hour earlier than the first round. The Cleveland Browns are the first team on the clock, and like yesterday, they own two picks inside the top-four of the round. Could former Packers executives John Dorsey and Eliot Wolf look to make a trade with Gutekunst early in the evening?
Green Bay likely won’t need to trade up, as there’s still plenty of talent on the board.
