Arizona Cardinals

Favorite pick: Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA

Overall grade: A

Josh Rosen is the type of quarterback that shouldn’t be available 10th overall, and the Arizona Cardinals got a steal by barely having to give up anything for him. His draft day slide reminds me a lot of Aaron Rodgers and I think he will instantly help the Cardinals’ offense.

The Cardinals also added a potential replacement for Larry Fitzgerald in Christian Kirk and someone who should instantly help out the interior of their offensive line with Mason Cole. The Cardinals had a tremendous draft.

Los Angeles Rams

Favorite pick: John Kelly, RB, Tennessee

Overall grade: C

The Rams didn’t have many top picks, and I don’t feel like they added many impact players. John Kelly is a nice power back who should provide a change-of-pace to Todd Gurley. Joseph Noteboom could be a potential replacement for aging Andrew Whitworth, but I don’t really feel like they did much else.

San Francisco 49ers

Favorite pick: Dante Pettis, WR, Washington

Overall grade: B-

John Lynch’s second draft wasn’t quite as exciting as his first, but the 49ers still impressed. Mike McGlinchey will be able to immediately slide in at right tackle, and I think he will be an eventual replacement to former Pro Bowler Joe Staley.

The Dante Pettis pick was another great one. He will dominate as a receiver and as a special teams player, making life a lot easier for Jimmy Garoppolo. I also liked that they took a flier on Kentavius Street in the later rounds; he is unlikely to play much this season, but could be an impact defender for them down the line.

Seattle Seahawks

Favorite pick: Shaquem Griffin, LB, UCF

Overall grade: B

The Rashaad Penny pick in the first round was a little surprising, and I would have rather seen them target a offensive lineman such as Connor Williams or Will Hernandez. But I felt like they made up for it with a lot of their picks later in the draft.

Rasheem Green should be a decent replacement to Michael Bennett. Will Dissly is a hometown guy who who could start from day one. Shaquem Griffin is a very inspirational player who will contribute greatly on both special teams and in the front seven. Jamarco Jones is someone who I thought would go on day two but the Seahawks ended up getting in the fifth round. It was an impressive draft by John Schneider and Pete Carroll.
