Packers 53-man roster predictions following 2018 NFL Draft
With the 2018 NFL Draft complete, it’s time to make some early 53-man roster predictions for the Green Bay Packers.
We’re entering the next phase of the offseason. The fun of free agency and the draft is over, and the Green Bay Packers’ roster today is pretty much how it will stand until roster cuts are made at the end of the summer. While free agent signings could still be made between now and the start of the new season, most of the work has been done.
The Packers brought in free agents Jimmy Graham, Muhammad Wilkerson and Tramon Williams with new general manager Brian Gutekunst running the show. How will these three new additions fit on the depth chart?
There will be a number of interesting positional battles to follow this summer. The Packers drafted three wide receivers after releasing Jordy Nelson, but there will competition for the final roster spots.
Green Bay also drafted two cornerbacks with its first couple of selections, and traded away Damarious Randall for quarterback DeShone Kizer. It’s been a busy offseason so far for the Packers’ new general manager.
Now that the draft is complete and the roster is beginning to take shape, it’s a great time to make some early 53-man roster predictions. Who will make the team, and which players will miss out?
