28. Arizona Cardinals

Josh Rosen is the future for the Cardinals, but just how much will he play as a rookie? Can Sam Bradford stay healthy all season? They probably won’t make the playoffs in 2018, but the Cardinals are focused on the future, adding wide receiver Christian Kirk, running back Chase Edmonds and offensive linemen Mason Cole and Korey Cunningham in the draft. The future is all about Rosen.

27. New York Jets

Similarly, in New York, Sam Darnold will determine how successful the Jets will be in the future. They have to be thrilled that Darnold was available to them with the third overall pick. He can sit behind Josh McCown this year.

26. Indianapolis Colts

It’s tough to rank the Colts. It’s all down to the health of Andrew Luck. If he’s 100 percent and plays at the level we’ve come to expect, Indianapolis will suddenly become playoff contenders. He might finally have the protection he’s desperately needed, too.

25. Baltimore Ravens

Joe Flacco has a lot to prove this year. The Ravens’ decision to trade up for Lamar Jackson in the first round of the draft shows Flacco’s time in Baltimore could be nearing an end. The Ravens have added Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead to help him out.
