8. Green Bay Packers

As long as Aaron Rodgers plays all 16 games, the Packers will be tough to stop on offense. The addition of Jimmy Graham and three rookie receivers only helps. But it’s their defense that will determine how far this team goes. Led by new defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, the Packers will be relying on rookie cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson to fix the secondary.

7. Atlanta Falcons

I loved the Falcons’ top two draft picks. Calvin Ridley is a big addition on offense, and could form one of the league’s top receiving duos with Julio Jones. Isaiah Oliver joins an already-strong cornerback room featuring Desmond Trufant and Robert Alford. The Falcons should be contenders in 2018.

6. New Orleans Saints

The Saints remain the top team in the NFC South, just ahead of the Falcons. They took a big risk giving up a 2019 first-round pick for Marcus Davenport, but if it pays off this year they could be Super Bowl-bound. New Orleans has one of the most complete rosters in the league and should be near the top of the NFC.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are loaded, and should build on an excellent 2017 season. I like the selections of Taven Bryan and DJ Chark in the opening two rounds of the draft. As long as Blake Bortles plays well enough, Jacksonville will be tough to beat.
