Three Green Bay Packers players who could surprise us in 2018.

Last year, the running back duo of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams surprised fans with good rookie seasons for the Green Bay Packers. Who are some possible candidates for surprise seasons in 2018?

It seems like every year there is always someone who breaks out and has a decent year. Whether it was because of injuries to starters and/or the player was able to take advantage of the opportunities given to them. The Packers have seen this on numerous occasions over the past couple of years.

Multiple players have had to step up, mainly because of injuries. Some flourished, while some struggled when given the chance to play prematurely. There is a good chance someone will go down with an injury again. A rookie or backup will have to step up somewhere down the line. It happens every year. You don’t want to see it, but it is inevitable.

This list won’t be predicting which key starters will get injured. A rookie or backup can still have a surprising season even if the starter ahead of them plays the majority of the games in a season.

Especially at thinner positions on the Packers roster, like in the secondary or the linebackers, anyone who steps on the field will have a chance to break out and have a good year.
