Green Bay Packers game-by-game predictions for 2018 season
Week 13: vs. Arizona Cardinals
By this time, the Cardinals will be starting quarterback Josh Rosen who they drafted 10th overall. They will be competing for one of the top picks of the 2019 draft, so it only makes sense to see what they have in Rosen.
Everyone responds differently to major injuries, which is what running back David Johnson suffered last year. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport claims Johnson is 100 percent healthy. That remains to be seen.
Even with Johnson back, the Cardinals are still a last-place team. The Rams and 49ers have both passed them. Their offense is aging with wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. They released starting safety Tyrann Mathieu. Cornerback Patrick Peterson and defensive end Chandler Jones are their only highlights.
Coming to Lambeau Field in December as a visiting team is always a treat, especially for a warm place team with a dome stadium. The elements alone will get the best of teams. Not to mention a team with a rookie quarterback and a new head coach.
Aaron Rodgers continues his MVP-caliber year by keeping the Packers ahead of the Vikings in the NFC North. Something that is a must when a team is starting the last quarter of their season.
Prediction: Packers 24, Cardinals 10 (9-3)
