Green Bay Packers game-by-game predictions for 2018 season
Week 14: vs. Atlanta Falcons
The 2018 Atlanta Falcons are going to be an interesting team to watch. There were rumors surrounding a riff between them and star wide receiver Julio Jones. It seemed to be more than what it actually was until they spent their 26th overall pick on wide receiver Calvin Ridley.
After much speculation, it seems the two sides are on good terms.
The Packers and Falcons have had some history together recently. Playing for the sixth time since 2013, the Falcons have had the Packers number by winning the last three contests, all in Atlanta.
The last time the two teams played at Lambeau Field was the 2014 season. Both stocked with high powered offenses, the game ended in a 43-37 win for Green Bay. The Packers have won the past two meetings with Atlanta at Lambeau.
Green Bay’s defense has gone through a major overhaul, but the Falcons offense is still the same high powered unit. The team goes as good as quarterback Matt Ryan plays.
This will be a back and forth type game. A type of game that, usually, goes in the Falcons favor. Also, the two teams will be jockeying for position for a bye or home game in the playoffs.
Prediction: Falcons 30, Packers 24 (9-4)
