Green Bay Packers game-by-game predictions for 2018 season
Week 15: at Chicago Bears
To finish the season, the Packers play two out of three games against NFC North opponents. These two teams opened up the season with a close game at Lambeau Field. The Packers will be victorious in Week 1, breaking the trend of first-year Bears’ head coaches winning at Lambeau in their first chance.
Currently, the Bears are riding an eight-game losing streak at home to the Packers. Their last win came way back in the 2010 season.
The Bears are projecting upwards as far as talent on their team. They have a young roster with a new head coach. Very similar to what Sean McVay is doing in Los Angeles with the Rams.
The problem is we don’t know what they have in second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. By Week 15, the Bears will have a pretty good idea. It all depends on how well head coach Matt Nagy is with developing quarterbacks.
The Bears drew the short straw on the timing of their games against the Packers. Opening the season after a year without Rodgers, then playing Rodgers during a crucial week is poor luck.
The Packers will continue their dominance against the Bears for at least another season.
Prediction: Packers 27, Bears 17 (10-4)
