Green Bay Packers game-by-game predictions for 2018 season
Week 17: vs. Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions coming to Lambeau Field is no secret as being a one-sided affair since the early 90s. Before their win in 2015, the Lions hadn’t won a game at Lambeau since 1991.
Without Aaron Rodgers last season, the Packers were swept by the Lions for the first time since 1991. In this prediction, the Lions took game one by beating the Packers in Detroit.

Rodgers has played 16 games against the Lions. In those games, the Packers are 13-3.
The Packers, at this point, are riding their postseason aspirations by securing the division with a win in Week 17.
Normally, the Lions have started their descent into mediocrity well before Week 17, making this game useless for them. The offseason proved that they still haven’t grasped what it takes to take down the Packers or even the Minnesota Vikings.
Now, they have let the Chicago Bears catch back up to them. Both teams will be fighting for another third-place finish within the NFC North division.
The only question is what seed the win will secure for them. Will it be enough for first-round bye? Will it be enough for home field advantage throughout the playoffs?
Prediction: Packers 21, Lions 13 (12-4)
