Week 9: at New England Patriots

Here’s a potential Super Bowl LIII preview.

Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers. Packers News vs. The Evil Empire.

Week 9 is going to provide the game of the year. The Patriots came to Lambeau four years ago, with the Packers coming out winners in a 26-21 game.

As fans, we’ve been waiting for the two best quarterbacks to play in the Super Bowl. The 2018 season may be the last year we could get the chance.

During the offseason, the Patriots’ biggest lost was defensive coordinator Matt Patricia. Reports were they almost lost their offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as well.

On the personnel side, they lost running back Dion Lewis, cornerback Malcolm Butler, tight end Martellus Bennett, and wide receiver Brandin Cooks. All while adding running back Jeremy Hill, wide receiver Jordan Matthews, and defensive end Adrian Clayborn.

These two teams match up pretty well on paper. Both have a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback. Both have revamped secondaries along with talented wide receiver corps. Lastly, both have new defensive coordinators.

Halloween is around the time the Patriots start finding their groove. This is when they start their push for the number one seed to start their Super Bowl run. It happens year in and year out. That is what makes them the Patriots. The Packers will just be in their way.

Prediction: Patriots 34, Packers 28 (5-3)

Side note: Packers will get revenge in the Super Bowl
