15. Lamar Miller (Houston Texans)

Miller faced some adversity last year when Deshaun Watson went down, but he still managed to have a productive season.

If Watson is healthy this year, the Texans offense could be very productive. Miller would benefit a lot from this.

I love Miller’s ability to dominate as both a runner and a receiver, and he still has a lot of good years left in him.

14. Jay Ajayi (Philadelphia Eagles)

Ajayi was a hero in Philadelphia last year, and he did a great job helping Nick Foles and the Eagles offense after Carson Wentz went down towards the end of the year.

Ajayi is a big back who has a nice skill-set. I would like to see him improve a little bit as a receiver, and if he can do that, there is a chance that he cracks the top 10 of my rankings next year.

13. Kareem Hunt (Kansas City Chiefs)

Hunt was an absolute sensation in the first few games of last season, but it seemed like he fell of a bit as the year went on.

I still think Hunt will be a great running back in this league, but his expectations may need to be a tempered for now as I would like to see him play more consistent.

The tandem of Patrick Mahomes and Hunt could dominate the AFC, if Hunt can play the rest of his career like he did in the first few games of the 2017 season. That may be easier said than done though.

12. Devonta Freeman (Atlanta Falcons)

Freeman is an absolute stud who has played a big role in the Atlanta offense over the last few seasons. He was at his best during the 2016 season, when he helped Atlanta get to the Super Bowl (if only they ran him more in the second half of that game).

If Freeman wants to get back in my top 10, he will need to improve his rushing numbers (895 yards last year).

11. Jordan Howard (Chicago Bears)

Howard has the potential to have a really good year in 2018. Matt Nagy’s arrival as the Bears’ new head coach will benefit Mitchell Trubisky the most, but when Nagy was in Kansas City he did wonders for running backs like Spencer Ware and Kareem Hunt. I see the potential for Nagy to have a big impact on Howard as well.

Howard is an underrated player who doesn’t get brought up in the conversation of star backs like the Le’Veon Bells or Todd Gurleys of the world, but after this year there is a chance he will.
