The top three questions for Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones this offseason.

Aaron Jones showed the world what he could do in 2017, but what questions will be asked of the talented second-year running back this season?

Jones had to patiently wait for his opportunity last year. In Week 4, both starter Ty Montgomery and backup Jamaal Williams got hurt, opening the door for Jones. And he maximized his minutes on the field, rushing 13 times for 49 yards and a touchdown against the Chicago Bears.

Given his first start a week later at Dallas, Jones had a breakout performance, turning 19 carries into 125 yards and a touchdown.

Green Bay’s offense completely changed when Aaron Rodgers went down with a broken collarbone, and Jones dealt with a couple of injuries of his own. Had the two Aarons stayed healthy, it’s possible Jones could have had a huge season.

While Jones put together some impressive performances last season — he hit the 100-yard mark on two occasions — there are still a lot of questions to be asked this summer. Can Jones step up in his second season?

What we do know is that Jones will be a big part of the Packers’ plans this season, as long as he can stay healthy.
