Equanimeous St. Brown

Why is St. Brown fifth on the list above many others? Most importantly, St. Brown is ahead of Trevor Davis, who was on the Packers last year. Also, St. Brown is ahead of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who was drafted a round before St. Brown was selected.

It’s worth watching to see if Davis’ off-field incident at the airport this offseason leads him to the so-called doghouse. St. Brown is a bigger body, at 6-foot-5, than both Davis and Valdes-Scantling. St. Brown also had a more proven career at Notre Dame compared to what Valdes-Scantling did at USF.

As the fifth wide receiver, St. Brown most likely won’t see the field a lot. Not to mention Rodgers also has talented running backs and tight ends to throw to as well.

St. Brown will most likely fall in the top-10 of receiving stats for the Packers. He will be at the very bottom of that 10. His tools as a receiver will allow him to produce in his limited time on the field.

St. Brown can play in the slot and outside the numbers. He has surprising speed, and at his height he is great in the red zone. Expect St. Brown to get double-digit receptions and between 100-200 receiving yards. I could see St. Brown coming down with some touchdowns on fade routes in the back of the end zone this season. I predict St. Brown will score about three times in 2018.

Prediction: 100-200 receiving yards, three touchdowns
