What are the Green Bay Packers’ top five training camp battles to watch this summer?

Training camp begins in little over three weeks, and the Green Bay Packers will have a number of interesting positional battles to watch.

It’s been a busy offseason in Packers News. We’ve seen a change at general manager, an overhaul of Mike McCarthy’s coaching staff, more activity in free agency, and a number of rookies joining the team in the draft.

New general manager Brian Gutekunst was active in his search for more defensive talent, particularly at cornerback. His number one priority in the spring was to give new defensive coordinator Mike Pettine as much talent to work with as possible.

But the time for signing players is (pretty much) over. While it’s still possible the team makes a couple of moves, the focus now shifts towards training camp and the start of the 2018 season.

Just 45 days stands between the Packers’ first training camp practice on July 26, and their regular season opener with the Chicago Bears. In that time, a number of questions will be answered at key positions.

What are the top five training camp competitions to watch this summer? Right guard, cornerback and safety are all honorable mentions, but they don’t make the top five.
