Packers all-time scrimmage: Team Brett Favre vs. Team Aaron Rodgers
By Nick Olig
Safeties
Team Favre
FS – Darren Sharper: Had 36 interceptions and made two Pro Bowls in eight years. The prototype of what it means to succeed on the field and fail as a man off the field.
SS – LeRoy Butler: A Hall-of-Fame worthy defensive standout leader, and Super Bowl champion. Had 38 interceptions and 20.5 sacks in 12 seasons. A true Packers legend.

Backup – FS, Eugene Robinson: His acquisition was another reason for the dominance of the 1996 defense. Had 130 tackles and seven picks in two seasons.
Backup – FS, George Teague: Six interceptions and 119 tackles in three seasons. His solid career lasted almost a decade.
Team Rodgers
FS – Nick Collins: An exceptional ball-hawking safety and another victim of a career-ending neck injury. Made three Pro Bowls in seven seasons.
SS – Morgan Burnett: 511 tackles and 7.5 sacks in eight seasons. Like Collins, he’s got a ring. Had 105 tackles in 2014.
Backup – FS, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: In four seasons, he’s been named to a Pro Bowl and totaled 11 picks and 283 tackles.
Backup – SS, Josh Jones: He’ll take over for Burnett after a promising rookie year. Has two sacks and 56 tackles. Jones should emerge in 2018.
Advantage
Tie. Evenly matched. Nick Collins in his prime would capitalize on Favre’s “go up and get the deep ball” mistakes, but LeRoy Butler would give Rodgers fits with his versatility. In time the active duo of Clinton-Dix and Josh Jones could sway the advantage to Team Rodgers.
