A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers articles for Wednesday, August 1.

Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report.

There’s some positive news for Green Bay Packers safety Kentrell Brice. After being carted off during Monday’s practice, it appears his injury isn’t as serious as it was initially feared. According to Bill Huber of 247Sports.com and Packer Report, Brice was “relieved” that it wasn’t as serious as many thought.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed that Brice’s x-rays were negative on Twitter, although he reported there is concern about Jake Ryan’s injury.

We can only hope Ryan won’t miss the entire season.

We are now just eight days away from the Packers’ preseason opener, and 39 away from the Week 1 meeting with the Chicago Bears.

Let’s begin the Packers News Report for Wednesday. Here’s a roundup of the latest articles from around the internet.
