NFL 2018 record predictions: Packers bounce back in big way
Super Bowl LIII
Packers def. Patriots
This is the Super Bowl the world has been waiting to see. We’ve come close to it in recent years. The Packers lost two NFC title games, in 2014 and 2016, and both years the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl.
Aaron Rodgers hasn’t played against Tom Brady all too often. Prior to this season, the Packers and Patriots have only played each other once with both Rodgers and Brady starting. That was four years ago at Lambeau Field, with the Packers winning 26-21 in a thriller.
If both Rodgers and Brady are healthy this season, they will meet again in Week 9. This time it’s in New England, and I predict the Patriots will win. The Rodgers-Brady rivalry would sit at 1-1, and what better venue to settle the score than Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Super Bowl LIII?
This game would be close, it would be entertaining and it would be high scoring. Of course, I’m not going to pick the Packers to come this far just to lose.
Green Bay wins its first Super Bowl in eight years, and Rodgers finally gets the second ring of his career, beating an all-time great to do so.
