Predicting the Green Bay Packers’ final 53-man roster a week into training camp.

The first week of training camp has flown by. We’re one step closer to the Green Bay Packers‘ regular season opener, and also closer to finding out the full 53-man roster. After an interesting opening week, I’ve put together my latest predictions.

In the past week, coaches, media and fans got their first real glimpse of the 2018 Green Bay Packers. It’s been an important week for the rookies and free agent signings.

Unfortunately, the Packers couldn’t avoid some bad injury luck. Inside linebacker Jake Ryan is reportedly out for the entire season with a torn ACL. He got hurt during Monday’s practice. Safety Kentrell Brice and defensive lineman Mike Daniels were also injured on Monday. Daniels’ injury doesn’t appear to be serious, but it’s currently unknown how long Brice will be out for.

Will this change the Packers’ plans at either position? Will general manager Brian Gutekunst consider bringing in a free agent at inside linebacker or safety?

Green Bay’s opening preseason contest is just a week away. The Tennessee Titans visit Lambeau Field next Thursday evening. During preseason, we’ll learn a lot about the young players on the roster, and those exhibition games will help determine who makes the final 53.

A week into camp, I’ve made my latest predictions. Let’s begin with the quarterbacks.
