Wide receivers (7)

Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison, J’Mon Moore, Trevor DavisMarquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown

The wide receiver position will be one of the most interesting to watch in the coming weeks.

At the top of the depth chart is Davante Adams, who has put up double-digit touchdowns in consecutive seasons. With a new four-year contract, Adams deserves to be the team’s number one receiver.

Randall Cobb will continue his role as the Packers’ top slot receiver. But behind Adams and Cobb, there is some uncertainty.

Will Geronimo Allison secure the spot as the number three receiver? He will face tough competition from rookie J’Mon Moore, who has reportedly been impressive during the first week of camp.

One player to watch throughout training camp is Jake Kumerow. According to Ryan Wood of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Kumerow has a chance to make the 53-man roster.

"“There’s a good chance most Green Bay Packers fans didn’t consider the name “Jake Kumerow” all offseason. But through one week of camp, the former Wisconsin-Whitewater transfer has done what perhaps nobody expected, putting himself in contention for a spot on the 53.”"

While I don’t have Kumerow making the roster just yet, if he continues to impress, that could quickly change.

It remains to be seen whether Trevor Davis will see an increase in snaps on offense, but his special teams work could secure his spot on the 53.
