Five things to watch in the Green Bay Packers’ second preseason game, at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Green Bay Packers made the perfect start to preseason last week, defeating the Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field. More important than the final score was the play of many of the young players on the roster.

There’s still a lot of work to do between now and the regular season opener against the Chicago Bears on September 9, both on the practice field and in live game action. The Packers’ next preseason test comes at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.

The Steelers themselves kicked off preseason in style, defeating the Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles. Again, the score isn’t important. Many of the starters on both sides of the football were rested.

Will we see more starters on the field this week? Could the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Jimmy Graham or Muhammad Wilkerson get some game time? Similarly for the Steelers, will Ben Roethlisberger or Antonio Brown play at all on Thursday night? Even if the answer is yes for all of those players, their game time will be limited.

Once again, this is another audition for many of the young players on the roster. Here’s five things to watch on Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Lambeau.
