Wide receivers (7)

Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, J’Mon Moore, Jake Kumerow

The top three are set at wide receiver. But figuring out the rest isn’t easy. Rookies Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown both impressed against Tennessee, increasing their odds of securing a spot on the final 53. J’Mon Moore dropped too many passes last week, but he has a lot of potential in this offense, and there’s no doubt in my mind that he makes the roster.

The final place goes to Jake Kumerow, who has impressed throughout the summer and even earned the trust of Aaron Rodgers. That will go a long way, which is why I have him making the roster ahead of Trevor Davis.

Tight ends (3)

Jimmy Graham, Marcedes Lewis, Lance Kendricks

Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis became the Packers’ fourth and fifth free agent signings at tight end in the past three years earlier this offseason. Graham and Lewis bring different skill sets to Green Bay — between them, the Packers are adding excellent receiving and blocking ability to their offense.

Graham’s arrival is particularly exciting. Mike Spofford of Packers.com wrote on Monday about how he is getting on the same page as Aaron Rodgers. That should be music to the ears of Packers fans. Rodgers and Graham could form one of the top quarterback-tight end combinations in the league, particularly in the red zone.
