Offensive line (9)

David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga, Kyle Murphy, Jason Spriggs, Lane Taylor, Justin McCray, Lucas Patrick, Corey Linsley, Byron Bell

The fact David Bakhtiari is already back at practice is great news for the Packers. After getting hurt during Family Night, many feared the worst. I hope he’s held out of Thursday’s preseason game just to be safe, but the fact he could be available suggests he’ll have no issues getting fully healthy for Week 1.

As long as Bryan Bulaga is also ready for the season opener, the Packers are set at each starting position along the line.

Byron Bell struggled in the preseason opener, but I still have him making the roster to offer depth at tackle and guard, especially if there’s any uncertainty surrounding Bulaga’s status for Week 1.

Defensive line (5)

Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, Muhammad Wilkerson, Montravius Adams, Dean Lowry

The Packers could decide to keep a sixth defensive lineman, possibly Joey Mbu, but for now I have just five making the roster. But the Packers have plenty of talent along the defensive line. Easily the deepest position group on defense, the Packers have three potential Pro Bowlers in Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark and Muhammad Wilkerson. Montravius Adams and Dean Lowry provide excellent depth.

There’s a lot to like about this defensive line. This group is going to play a key role in not only stopping the run, but also providing interior pass rush in Mike Pettine’s defense.
