More negatives

Injuries

Injuries are a part of the game, it’s not a matter of if but when are they going to occur.

For the Packers, probable starting right guard Justin McCray (calf), probable starting running back Jamaal Williams (ankle), and training camp star Jake Kumerow (shoulder) left the game. Also seen limping off the field was running back Ty Montgomery.

Fortunately for the Packers, none of the injuries appear to be severe. Montgomery wasn’t even mentioned in the post-game report. It’s never good to see injuries, even more so when the game doesn’t count.

Hopefully there’s nothing long term and everyone will be back when the Packers return to the practice field.

Dropped… again

J’Mon Moore followed a disappointing showing last week with another disappointing showing this week.

Another drop on what could have been a big play hangs over Moore yet again. It would be safe to assume Kumerow and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are ahead of Moore at the moment. It also wouldn’t be a stretch to say Equanimeous St. Brown would be too. As the highest drafted receiver of the group, it would be a massive failure if Moore didn’t make the roster.

There are still two more games and a few more practices for Moore to change the narrative.
