Packers address offensive line in NFL Mocks 2019 NFL mock draft
The Green Bay Packers addressed both sides of the ball in the latest NFL Mocks 2019 mock draft.
Erik Lambert of NFL Mocks put together his latest 2019 mock draft, and he has the Green Bay Packers selecting offensive tackle Greg Little out of Ole Miss and linebacker Josh Allen out of Kentucky.
The Packers have two first-round selections in next year’s draft after their trade with the Saints in last April’s event.
In this mock, Lambert has the Packers picking at No. 24 and No. 25 overall, which means he predicts both teams to make the playoffs but fall short of the Super Bowl.
Here’s what Lambert wrote about the team’s first pick, offensive lineman Little:
"“It’s been a long time since they made a significant offensive line investment so they end that drought by going after Ole Miss tackle Greg Little. He’s not quite as developed as the other top tackles in this class but he’s every bit as talented. He shows quick feet and strong hands in pass protection while having the big body and lower body strength to generate push on the ground.”"
Adding more talent to the offensive line should be one of Brian Gutekunst’s top priorities next spring.
Right tackle Bryan Bulaga is entering a contract year this season, and given his injury history, it’s no guarantee he will return to Green Bay in 2019.
While the Packers do have an All-Pro talent at left tackle in David Bakhtiari, the depth at the position is concerning ahead of this season. It could be an issue throughout the year, and will be something Gutekunst will need to address.
It’s too early to know exactly how the draft will play out next April, but Little could be a player on the Packers’ radar.

Green Bay will have a great opportunity to add two difference-makers in the first round next year. Right now, there’s every chance the picks are used on and offensive tackle and linebacker.
