Packers News: Reaction to preseason loss to Raiders
A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers articles for Saturday, August 25.
Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report.
The Green Bay Packers were defeated for the first time in preseason on Friday night, losing on the road to the Oakland Raiders. The third preseason game often features many starters for the first half of the game, but that wasn’t the case for Green Bay.
Many of the team’s key starters such as Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and Jamaal Williams all sat out.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Packers without an injury. Rookie linebacker Oren Burks went down in the pre-game warmups.
The good news is that preseason is a step closer to being over, and we’re now just 15 days away from the team’s regular season opener against the Chicago Bears.
Let’s get started. Here’s a roundup of the latest articles from around the internet.
